LeCodes App Privacy Policy

This Policy describes how data is handled in the LeCodes mobile app for iOS and Android (the “App”), distributed through the App Store and Google Play. The developer and operator is Letary LLC (“we”).

The App is a demo viewer: it lets you open and run project apps created by users on the LeCodes platform, including via a link or a QR code of the form le.codes/qr.

The App does not require registration and does not ask you to sign in.

The App does not require creating an account, signing in or entering a login. We do not request or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts or any other personal data.

The App contains no advertising, uses no third-party analytics services, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

The App requests access to the camera for two purposes:

• scanning QR codes to open a selected project;
• powering augmented-reality (AR) features in projects that use them.

The camera feed is processed on the device in real time. We do not store the video stream, photos or QR-decoding results, and we do not send them to our servers.

When you scan a QR code or follow a le.codes/qr link, the App determines which project to open and requests it from the LeCodes servers.

The QR-code content is processed on the device and is used only to download and display the corresponding project.

To download the selected project and its resources, the App connects to the LeCodes servers over the Internet. As with any network connection, technical information needed to deliver the data (in particular, the IP address) becomes available to the server. We do not use this information to identify you personally.

Some viewed projects may request access to your photo library or to save an image to your device — for example, to pick a picture or save a result. Such access is granted by you on request and is used only for the specific project while you use it. We do not collect your photos or files.

The projects opened in the App are created by other users of the LeCodes platform. We are not the author of that content and do not control it.

Opened projects are programs and may use device capabilities (camera, photo access, network connections) within the permissions you grant. Only open projects from links and QR codes you trust.

If you come across a project that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others, report it to support@le.codes — we will take action.

To display a project, the App may temporarily store (cache) downloaded files and resources on your device. This data is stored locally and is removed when you uninstall the App.

The App uses the following permissions:

• Camera — to scan QR codes and for augmented-reality (AR) features;
• Internet access — to download selected projects and their resources;
• Photos / storage access — granted on request if an opened project uses image selection or saving.

Some system permissions may be requested by augmented-reality components. You can revoke any permission in your device settings, in which case the related features may become unavailable.

The App collects no personal data, including data of children. Because the App can open projects created by third parties, use by children is recommended under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

We may update this Policy. The current version is always available at this address; the date of the last change is shown at the top of the document. Significant changes may be accompanied by an App update in the stores.
