Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what personal data the LeCodes platform (le.codes, including the le.codes/app editor) processes when you use the service, for what purposes, on what legal grounds, and how we protect it. By using the platform, you confirm that you have read this Policy and agree to the processing of your data on the terms set out below.

The data controller is Letary LLC (hereinafter “the Controller”, “we”), which owns and operates the LeCodes platform.

This Policy is drawn up in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data” and other applicable laws of the Russian Federation.

The Policy applies to all data the Controller obtains about users while they use the le.codes website, the le.codes/app editor, the command-line tool (CLI) and related LeCodes services.

Personal data — any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified individual (user).

Processing — any operation performed on personal data: collection, recording, storage, modification, use, transfer, anonymisation, deletion.

User — an individual who uses the LeCodes platform.

AI assistant — a tool built into the editor that generates and modifies project code in response to the user's text prompts.

Account data

When you register and use an account we process:

• your email address;
• your first name, last name and username;
• your password in encrypted (hashed) form — we never store the password in plain text;
• your Yandex or VK ID account identifier and related public information (name, email, avatar) if you sign in through those services;
• an avatar you upload;
• your interface preferences (theme, accent colour, interface language);
• your balance of funds used to pay for AI-assistant requests.

Technical data

For security and to operate the service we automatically process:

• your IP address;
• sign-in session data and access tokens (including CLI access tokens, which are stored only as a hash);
• information about your device and browser sent when you access the service.

User content

While you work in the editor we store the content you create:

• projects, their names and descriptions;
• source code, files, resources and version history (commits) of projects;
• images and other files uploaded to a project;
• teams, members and project access rights.

AI-assistant data

To operate the AI assistant we process your conversation history with the assistant, the text of your prompts, attachments (images and text files) and token-usage statistics.

Payment data

When you top up your balance, the payment is processed by a payment provider. Full bank-card details are entered on the provider's side and are neither transmitted to nor stored by the Controller; we receive only information about the fact, amount and status of the payment.

We process personal data for the following purposes:

• registration, authentication and providing access to the platform;
• creating, storing, building and publishing your projects;
• operating the AI assistant and generating code in response to your prompts;
• processing payments and maintaining your balance;
• granting the welcome bonus and preventing abuse (fraud) when it is claimed;
• ensuring the security of the service and preventing unauthorised access;
• sending service and information messages (for example, password recovery);
• providing user support and responding to enquiries;
• improving and developing the platform.

Personal data is processed on the basis of:

• the user's consent to the processing of personal data;
• performance of the contract (terms of use) to which the user is a party;
• the Controller's legitimate interests in ensuring the security and operability of the service;
• the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The text of your prompts, attachments and the project-file content needed to fulfil a request are transmitted to the large-language-model (LLM) provider that powers the AI assistant, solely in order to produce a response.

We recommend that you do not share with the AI assistant the personal data of third parties, trade secrets or other confidential information that you are not prepared to have processed by an external AI provider.

Your conversation history with the assistant is stored against the project so that the dialogue persists between sessions, and it can be deleted together with the project.

We do not sell personal data. Sharing data with a limited number of third parties is possible only to the extent necessary to operate the service:

• with the Yandex and VK ID authentication services — when you sign in through them;
• with the AI-model provider — to operate the AI assistant;
• with the payment provider — to process payments;
• with infrastructure and hosting providers, as well as the email-delivery service;
• with authorised government bodies — in cases expressly provided for by law.

All engaged parties process data only to the extent necessary to provide the service and are obliged to keep it confidential.

The platform uses cookies and browser local storage (localStorage) to maintain your sign-in session, save interface preferences (theme, accent colour, language) and ensure security.

Disabling cookies in your browser may limit some platform features, including the ability to sign in.

Personal data is retained for as long as the account is in use and until the purposes of processing are achieved.

When an account is deleted, the data associated with it is deleted or anonymised, except for information we are required to keep by law or that is needed to prevent bonuses from being claimed again in bad faith and to prevent abuse.

We apply organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unlawful access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

Passwords are stored in hashed form, access to data is restricted, and the connection to the service is encrypted (HTTPS). CLI access tokens are stored only as a hash and are shown to the user in plain text only once, at the moment of creation.

You have the right to:

• obtain information about the processing of your personal data;
• request the correction, blocking or deletion of your data if it is incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or processed in breach of the law;
• withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data;
• delete your account;
• appeal the Controller's actions to the authorised personal-data protection body.

Some engaged services (for example, the AI-model provider) may be located outside the Russian Federation. In such cases, cross-border transfer is carried out in compliance with the law and only to the extent necessary to provide the service.

The platform is not intended for use by persons below the age at which, under applicable law, they may independently give consent to the processing of personal data. Where such consent must be given by a legal representative, use of the platform is permitted only with that representative's consent.

The Controller may amend this Policy. The current version is always available on this page; the date of the last change is shown at the top of the document. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
